Del Toro NOT directing “Haunted Mansion” but is moving on to horror

Guillermo Del Toro, famed director who abandoned “The Hobbit” for projects unknown, will NOT be directing that “Haunted Mansion” for Disney. He’s merely acting as the writer/producer on the project, a fact that was confirmed by a Disney press release. So what film will Del Toro next direct? He told attendees at the “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” panel at Comic-Con that it will be another horror project, but he declined to provide details, according to FirstShowing.net.
